• Both parties signed a strategic cooperation agreement on Headman’s establishment of digital intelligent factory that meets the requirements of “Industrie 4.0”

• Siemens will provide planning and consulting service for Headman’s digital intelligent factory project in Shamen

• Headman will be China’s first machine tool manufacturer to apply Siemens’ comprehensive solutions of digital enterprise systematically

Today, Siemens signed a strategic cooperation agreement with Zhejiang Headman Machinery Co., Ltd. (Headman). Siemens will provide planning and consulting service for Headman’s digital intelligent factory project in Shamen and assist in building Headman’s new manufacturing base in Shamen into a digital intelligent factory that meets the requirements of “Industrie 4.0”. Besides, both parties will be committed to promoting the best practice of intelligent manufacturing in CNC machine tool together and pushing forward the industrial transforming and upgrading of intelligent machine tool manufacturing in China.

The projects of cooperation between the two parties will cover all segments that Headman has been involved in, not only the local implementation scheme for the intelligent manufacturing project in Shamen, but also training, management, technical consultation and relevant support. Siemens will provide the latest comprehensive solutions, relevant technologies, products and services for Headman’s digital factory. Meanwhile, both parties will contribute to the advanced methodology and utility library during the CNC machine tool manufacturing process. Through the implementation of Shamen project, both parties will promote the best practice of intelligent manufacturing together in the field of CNC machine tool.
