Siemens helps Qianxi Group innovate in smart catering industry

•  Establish a long-term strategic partnership in the field of digitalization in smart catering industry

Siemens established a long-term strategic partnership today with Qianxi Robotics Catering Group (Qianxi Group), a subsidiary of Country Garden, in the field of digitalization in smart catering industry. Siemens will help Qianxi Group deeply integrate digital technologies with diversified catering services, provide it with advanced technology platform, high-quality technology support and comprehensive services, and enable it to develop an industry-leading and innovative IoT platform of smart catering.

According to the agreement, both parties will cooperate to develop an innovative IoT platform for smart catering industry. Siemens will provide Qianxi Group with MindSphere, a cloud-based open IoT operating system, and help set up the IoT laboratory in catering industry based on MindSphere, so as to fully achieve smart operation and maintenance based on the cloud platform, build a traceability system covering the entire industry chain, and achieve digital supervision over food safety. In addition, Siemens will support Qianxi Group to develop the IoT platform and access criteria for smart catering equipment, assist it in building the industrial network communication architecture, remote operation and maintenance system, and automatic control platform system of smart restaurant and catering equipment by virtue of its own advanced industrial communication, edge computing, robot integration and other automation and digitalization technologies. Furthermore, Siemens will also help Qianxi Group develop the smart catering cloud platform, so as to provide robotic catering businesses with integrated solutions including user links, supply materials, equipment operation, catering process files and other applications. Finally, Siemens will provide advanced virtual commissioning, TIA Portal and other digital technologies to accelerate Qianxi Group’s development in the field of catering robots.
