Siemens has launched strategic cooperation with JOMOO Group (JOMOO), committed to helping the latter company successfully realize its corporate sustainable development goals of achieving peak carbon emissions in next five years and carbon neutrality in next 15 years. Through the cooperation, the two sides aim to create a demonstration case for fully achieving carbon neutrality from planning and calibration to implementation and build a world-leading digital lighthouse factory that is carbon neutral in the full value chain, jointly leading the sustainable development of the bathroom building materials industry.

“As a world-class bathroom ware manufacturer, JOMOO has actively set its carbon neutrality goal and is committed to building a global green benchmark for the bathroom ware industry, setting an example for the low-carbon transformation of the industry,” said Zhu Xiaoxun, Executive Vice President of Siemens Ltd., China and General Manager of Siemens Advanta China. “Siemens, as a low-carbon pioneer in the unity of knowledge and practice, has accumulated rich experience in sustainable development. We are very pleased to collaborate with JOMOO to help it systematically lay out the development goal and implementation paths for carbon neutrality, while leveraging innovative technologies such as 5G, AI and big data to jointly develop a sustainable development path that can be replicated and used for reference in the global bathroom building materials industry.”

Lin Xiaofa, Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of JOMOO Group, said: “Siemens is a model of the German Industry 4.0 and intelligent manufacturing. Through the cooperation, we hope to combine JOMOO’s leading practices in the bathroom building materials industry with Siemens’ world-leading sustainable development concepts and technologies to successfully achieve our carbon neutrality goal.”

The two sides will work together to help JOMOO realize its corporate development goal of achieving peak carbon emissions by 2026 and carbon neutrality by 2036. To this end, they will formulate a strategic implementation plan and build JOMOO’s pilot lighthouse factory for carbon neutrality worldwide.
